Job Description:
As a DevOps Engineer at Galenion, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and testing teams to enhance and automate our software delivery processes, ensuring high-quality releases. The ideal candidate is passionate about streamlining workflows, improving efficiency, and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Development:
- Design, implement, and maintain automated build, deployment, and testing pipelines.
- Integrate CI/CD tools and processes into the development lifecycle.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code principles to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
- Manage and version infrastructure code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Containerization and Orchestration:
- Implement containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for application packaging and deployment.
- Orchestrate containers using tools like Kubernetes for scalability and resilience.
- Monitoring and Logging:
- Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
- Implement logging solutions to facilitate troubleshooting and analysis.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development and operations teams to understand requirements and streamline processes.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Security and Compliance:
- Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems, and scripting languages (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Shell, Python).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
