Job Description:

As a DevOps Engineer at Galenion, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and testing teams to enhance and automate our software delivery processes, ensuring high-quality releases. The ideal candidate is passionate about streamlining workflows, improving efficiency, and maintaining a robust and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. CI/CD Pipeline Development:
    • Design, implement, and maintain automated build, deployment, and testing pipelines.
    • Integrate CI/CD tools and processes into the development lifecycle.
  2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
    • Utilize Infrastructure as Code principles to automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration.
    • Manage and version infrastructure code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  3. Containerization and Orchestration:
    • Implement containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) for application packaging and deployment.
    • Orchestrate containers using tools like Kubernetes for scalability and resilience.
  4. Monitoring and Logging:
    • Set up and maintain monitoring tools to ensure the health and performance of applications and infrastructure.
    • Implement logging solutions to facilitate troubleshooting and analysis.
  5. Collaboration and Communication:
    • Work closely with development and operations teams to understand requirements and streamline processes.
    • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  6. Security and Compliance:
    • Implement security best practices throughout the development and deployment lifecycle.
    • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, version control systems, and scripting languages (e.g., Jenkins, Git, Shell, Python).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
